My love of photography was encouraged by my father's gift of a 35mm camera. Soon friends and family were requesting copies of my work. Today my work is sold through galleries and has been auctioned for the benefit of the Mexican Museum, Visual Aid, ArtSpan and other charities.
Reflected in my photography is an interest in the urban landscape and abstract themes. I agree with Paul Strand who said, "An artist's world is limitless. It can be found anywhere, far from where he lives or a few feet away. It is always on his doorstep."
Over the past few years, I have been drawn to the night and increasingly find myself shooting at twilight and into the evening. The night has a magical transformative quality that gives everyday objects a special appeal.
